Laser eye surgery you can trust

Eye Surgeons Consulting

Our laser eye surgeons, (left to right) Mr Glenn Carp, Ms Merce Morral, and Professor Dan Reinstein review clinical outcomes

We believe it’s all about trust. Your eyesight is one of your most precious gifts so you owe it to yourself to check every option thoroughly (including ours) before making a decision. Our results for laser eye surgery are amongst the best in the world. This is thanks primarily to the quality of our eye surgeons which include one of the pioneers of laser eye surgery and two of the UK’s most highly trained surgeons in this field. Unlike many eye surgeons, those at the London Vision Clinic focus solely on laser vision correction.

Individually tailored treatment

Every eye is unique and that’s why we tailor your treatment exactly to your eye’s specific needs. Before surgery, your surgeon will calibrate the laser according to a personal treatment plan, based on the most rigorous and detailed screening process anywhere in the world and a customised set of treatment profiles programmed just for you.

Laser Blended Vision to correct the need for reading glasses

If your vision is deteriorating through the natural ageing process (presbyopia) and you need reading glasses, it’s likely that we’ll recommend Laser Blended Vision, a revolutionary treatment developed at the London Vision Clinic. This unique laser eye surgery adjusts one eye mostly for distance and a little for up close, and the other mostly for up close and a little for distance. The brain soon adapts and combines the two, giving near perfect short and long vision. Most patients can escape their dependency on reading glasses for many years.

High Profile Treatments to correct severe short-sightedness and long-sightedness

If you have a very high prescription, you may be suitable for our High Profile treatments – another of the Clinic’s pioneering advances in laser vision correction. Many surgeons will not accept patients with severe short- or long-sightedness. But we are uniquely equipped to treat such cases, thanks to our rigorous testing process, including one of the few Artemis™ scanners available in the world. This allows us to measure your eye in microscopic detail – detail that will be used to programme the laser and ensure we operate within safe parameters, even on very high prescriptions.

Getting the world’s best results takes time

We’re not interested in processing as many patients as possible. Our sole aim is to give every patient the best possible vision - however complex or unusual their condition. That’s why appointments at the London Vision Clinic often take longer than at other clinics – as much as two to three times longer. But we believe your eyes deserve nothing less.
