Patients Mesmerised By The Lion King West End Experience

The London Vision Clinic recently invited patients to an “adaptation of Disney’s much-loved film The Lion King”, complete with its musical explosions, dazzling effects and colourful adventure at London’s famous Lyceum Theatre in Covent Garden.

The evening was packed full of evocative and enchanting African rhythms, “a spectacular visual feast” of glorious colours and stunning effects along with the powerful and gripping story of Simba and his journey to his destined role.

Over 20 patients and their friends and relatives, including 10-year old birthday-boy James and his mother Hayley Onona (a London Vision Clinic patient), enjoyed the event. After the event Hayley said, “I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful evening last night.  I took my son James, who is 10 today, for his first West End experience.  He was mesmerised and we both thoroughly enjoyed The Lion King.  Thank you for the tickets, they were really appreciated.”

Old employees Mary Erekpaine and Majean Stanley were at the event representing the London Vision Clinic.
