Why we believe you should avoid low-cost Laser Eye Surgery
Cutting prices means cutting corners. That might be okay if you’re buying a television, but it’s never worth gambling with your vision. We ensure safe and effective Laser Eye Surgery through exceptional surgeons, rigorous screening, the most advanced technology, and comprehensive follow-up care. None of that comes cheap, and we don’t pretend it does. Instead, we make our prices simple, fair and affordable. No extras, no hidden costs.
Choosing your laser eye surgeon: six questions to ask
Is low cost Laser Eye Surgery really worth it?
The only way to reduce costs for Laser Eye Surgery is to treat a lot of patients. So low-cost clinics have to stick to the simpler cases and provide a less sophisticated level of care.
We don’t believe such compromises have any place in Laser Eye Surgery. Vision is simply too precious.
That’s why we take far more time testing and measuring your eyes than other clinics, often two to three times longer. You get whatever test and treatment you need – at no extra cost.
We calibrate the laser to the precise needs of each of your eyes, individually. And we review every single operation – not just a random selection. That way, we make 100% certain we’ve done everything we can to achieve the best possible result. If we think we can do more for you, we will.
Does the price cover surgery for both eyes?
It may sound crazy, but the prices quoted by many Laser Eye Surgery clinics are just for one eye. So what looks like a bargain can quickly disappear once they’ve got you through the door.
Our clear prices include all tests and treatment for both eyes.
Are there any hidden costs?
Many clinics offer low entry fees and even free promotions and deals. Beware. Be conscious of sales tactics, these may be genuine, but if something looks too good to be true, it usually is.
Always read the small print. In some cases, fewer than 10% of people are actually eligible for an advertised low price. The regular selling price for most patients can substantially more.
What happens after the treatment?
Laser Eye Surgery is about far more than just the surgery day itself. Aftercare is critical to an ideal result. That’s why our prices cover all your aftercare for a whole year – including eye drops.
We are more committed to continuity of care than any clinic in the UK and only “discharge” our patients if they are happy to do so when we are satisfied that their healing is complete. Despite not requiring glasses, the eye is an organ that should ideally undergo regular checkups. We will design the optimal, customised follow-up schedule for you, generally comprising a check-up every 1-2 years.
The cost of Laser Eye Surgery includes all of your aftercare for one year after treatment. If you ever have any worries about your vision, we want you to get in touch — whether it’s a month after your surgery, a year, or five years. You can call us as often as you need to, no matter how long ago you had your surgery.
However long it is since your surgery, we’re always happy to talk through any questions or concerns. Whether it’s a week after your surgery or five years. Just pick up the phone.
Is there a finance plan?
We don’t want you to compromise on your vision. Everyone should have the best possible treatment and service.
Our affordable finance can make it easier to spread the cost over 12 to 60 months, with 0% APR monthly payments on the 12 and 24 month plan.
Will I receive world-class treatment?
We strive for excellence in everything we do, and that includes taking much more time and care over the testing and screening of your eyes, at no extra charge. Often, it takes 2 to 3 times as long as other clinics, ensuring you get every test and treatment you need.
The only way to keep the cost of Laser Eye Surgery low is to treat a high turnover of patients. That means sticking to the more straightforward cases and offering a relatively simple standard of care. But we believe your vision is too precious to risk.
It means we develop a bespoke treatment plan just for you. Programming the laser precisely and specifically for you and reviewing every operation to ensure we did everything we could to give you the best possible result. If we think we can improve your vision further, we’ll do so.
We are confident that you’d be hard-pressed to find better with our surgical expertise and technology. Furthermore, our thoroughness of the screening process and our determined commitment to customer service ensures a standard of care that cannot possibly be offered at a discount price but, do you really want discount eye surgery?
