Mr Glenn Carp – “Using intra-ocular lenses you can treat a very wide range of prescription error, both from short-sightedness to long-sightedness as well as astigmatism.  The range has increased quite considerably over the years as well as the accuracy of the outcome of these lenses.  The calculations used to work out the correct strength of implant to counteract the refractive error has improved over the years but not quite as accurate as Laser Surgery on the surface of the eye but in some patients with very high prescriptions they do offer a more superior outcome.”
