London Vision Clinic: At the Forefront of Refractive Surgery

Since we opened our doors on the world-renowned Harley Street way back in 2002, London Vision Clinic has been at the forefront of refractive surgery. Today, we remain one of the world’s leading Laser Eye Surgery clinics. This is thanks to our dedication to the highest quality treatments and the development of new and innovative techniques and procedures.

Two such procedures, co-developed by our very own founder and expert Laser Eye Surgeon, Professor Dan Reinstein, are ReLEx SMILE and PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision:

• ReLEx SMILE is an innovative keyhole Laser Eye Surgery procedure that allows the treatment of higher prescriptions and the treatment of patients with thinner corneas or dry eyes.
• PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision involves correcting each eye in a different way to create a “blend zone”. This allows the brain to compensate for the development of presbyopia (ageing eyes).

Since their development, these innovative treatments have corrected the vision of tens of thousands of patients. What’s more, our Refractive Surgery courses have helped to educate and train surgeons from around the world in these pioneering procedures.

Forefront Refractive Surgery Course: Developed to provide corneal refractive surgeons who are interested in performing LASIK, PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision and ReLEx SMILE with valuable resources. Expect a three-day course including lectures, practical workshops, group workshops, and a wet lab.

Our LIVE courses are available in-person in London, Brazil, and India.

Forefront Therapeutic Refractive Surgery Course: This course focuses on the management of refractive complications and includes advanced topics, such as diagnostics, treatment planning, treatment modalities, retreatment surgical techniques, and post-operative monitoring and management.
