Mary Harboe

Throughout a career spanning forty years, award winning journalist Mary Harboe has worked as an international broadcaster and writer. Her work has taken her to Africa, the Middle East, the Netherlands, Spain, – where she hosted a daily radio magazine programme for more than ten years – and to Sri Lanka to cover the Tsunami disaster, its aftermath and subsequent reconstruction. Following the publication of her first book “Gucci Wars” in 2008, she currently divides her time between London and Southern Spain concentrating on full time writing and investigative journalism projects both in the UK and abroad. A particular interest in all aspects of health and medical developments led Mary to the London Vision Clinic where she happily binned her reading glasses and became a huge fan of laser blended vision.  She now lends her skills to producing the London Vision Clinic blog and the Insight Newsletter.
