Laser Eye Surgery Costs: The 5 most important factors
At London Vision Clinic we believe there are 5 key cost questions to consider before deciding whether Laser Eye Surgery is the right option for you. Ask yourself the following:
1. Will I receive world-class treatment?

We’re happy to discuss payment options, including interest-free finance, with you either on the phone or in person.
We strive for excellence in everything we do, and that includes taking much more time and care over the testing and screening of your eyes, at no extra charge. Often, 2 to 3 times as long as other clinics, ensuring you get every test and treatment you need .
The only way to keep the cost of Laser Eye Surgery low is to treat a high turnover of patients. That means sticking to the simpler cases, and offering a relatively simple standard of care. But we believe your vision is too precious to risk.
It means we develop a bespoke treatment plan just for you, programming the laser exactly and specifically for you, and reviewing every single operation to ensure we did everything we could to give you the best possible result. If we think we can improve your vision further, we’ll do so.
We are confident that with our surgical expertise and technology, you’d be hard pressed to find better. Furthermore, our thoroughness of the screening process and our determined commitment to customer service ensures standard of care cannot possibly be offered at a discount price but then, do you really want discount eye surgery?
The monthly fees quoted below are based on Approved Interest-Free Credit at 24 months and are valid until 30th June 2018. Monthly fees will be lower after the payment of a £500 initial investment. Contact us to learn more.
2. Are there hidden costs?
A small percentage of patients have very high prescriptions beyond what can be corrected with a standard LASIK treatment. For maximum accuracy and safety, we recommend High Profile treatments for these patients. Due to their complexity, these specialised treatments cost £6,500. Get in touch with us if you would like to talk about this before your initial screening.
Warning: Many clinics attract patients with low basic Laser Eye Surgery prices, but then reveal that certain tests or procedures carry extra costs. These costs can mount up fast.
The treatment costs for Laser Eye Surgery here at London Vision Clinic are provided for by one comprehensive all-inclusive fee*:

3. Are there costs for Aftercare?
The cost of Laser Eye Surgery includes all of your aftercare for one year after treatment. If you ever have any worries about your vision, we want you to get in touch — whether it’s a month after your surgery, a year, or five years. You can call us as often as you need to, no matter how long ago you had your surgery.
We are more committed to continuity of care than any clinic in the UK and only “discharge” our patients if they are happy to do so when we are satisfied that their healing is complete. Despite not requiring glasses, the eye is an organ that should ideally undergo regular checkups. We will design the optimal, customised follow-up schedule for you, generally comprising a check-up every 1-2 years.
We back our commitment to ongoing care by heavily subsidising the fee for an annual eye exam*: London Vision Clinic treated patients pay only £250 for a full eye examination including not only a dilated pupil examination and formal peripheral retinal examination but also including all technological machine testing (on average a minimum £350 cost if itemised).
___
*A regular eye examination (excluding machine testing) by a private Consultant Ophthalmologist in the UK is generally about £175).
4. Do you offer interest free finance?
Monthly payments can be as low as £204/month at 0% interest for as long as two years, which allow you to spread the cost of your laser eye treatment whilst not compromising on safety or service.
