Professor Dan Reinstein

Professor Reinstein is one of the few ophthalmic surgeons in the UK to have dedicated his professional life exclusively to Laser Eye Surgery. In doing so, he has become the World’s Number One expert in his field and renowned globally for his expertise.

He completed his medical studies at Cambridge and Cornell universities and went on to hold professorships in New York and Paris. In addition to being the lead surgeon at London Vision Clinic, Dr Dan continues to lead pioneering research in the field of Laser Eye Surgery. The development of the Artemis Insight (the world’s most accurate corneal scanner), and ground-breaking treatments such as PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision (for ageing eyes) and ReLEx SMILE are just some of his contributions.

Mr Glenn Carp

Mr Glenn Carp is one of the UK’s most highly trained laser eye surgeons. Having completed his specialist ophthalmic training and been appointed Ophthalmic Senior House Officer at Johannesburg Hospital in his native South Africa, Mr Carp eventually completed his fellowship training at London Vision Clinic.

Shortly afterwards, he was offered a permanent position at the clinic and has been with us ever since! Since then, Mr Carp has become one of the most well-known laser eye surgeons in the UK and around the world.

Mr Darshak Patel

Darshak Patel is an extremely well-respected ophthalmic surgeon, having graduated from University College London with a number of medical school awards. He also completed his Ophthalmic residency in London, followed by two years of cataract and refractive surgery sub-specialisation at the Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields.
