Short-sightedness up to -12.00 with Presbyopia

The clearest marker of quality for a Laser Eye Surgery clinic is its surgeons. And the clearest marker of quality of its surgeons? Their results.

At the London Vision Clinic, we do everything we can to achieve great results and optimum results with every patient.

This dedication to what we do has put our independent Harley Street clinic and our results among the very best in the world.

This is especially the case for PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision, a revolutionary treatment for reading glasses that was pioneered here at the London Vision Clinic.

For example:

• 99% of our PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision patients can read N8, or normal newsprint. • 89% of PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision patients can read small newsprint (i.e. stock quotes). • 96% of our patients achieve the ‘normal’ standard of 20/20 vision. Many achieve even better vision.

In helping you determine the best clinic for you, here we’re going to look in more detail at the results of our PRESBYOND® Laser Blended Vision patients.

The results are based on an analysis of 420 consecutive procedures, all performed here at London Vision Clinic by our team of expert laser eye surgeons.

As you can see from the results, nearly all the patients achieved N.6 vision. N.6. vision is the standard level of visual acuity at near distances, measured by reading words on a small handheld chart, with N meaning near and 6 referring to the size of the letters.

N.6. is equivalent to 20/20 vision for near sight. 20/20 or 6/6 vision is the standard for visual acuity or sharpness of vision, and it means you can see what the average person can see (who doesn’t need glasses) from a distance of 20 feet.

Considering the above results are for patients who have a whole range of prescriptions and 20/20 is for many the same as perfect vision, 96 per cent is impressive.

N.5., which is achieved by 92 per cent of patients, is the smallest text size, and is, therefore, often only readable by a few. However, after Laser Eye Surgery at London Vision Clinic, more than nine out of ten patients can read it just fine.

Of course, all results depend on the individual. And so if you’d like to discuss what results you can expect from Laser Eye Surgery, why not drop a comment below or contact our friendly team of clinic coordinators today.
